Flooring is specified by traffic before appearance. A hotel lobby, a private terrace and a service driveway need different stones at different thicknesses on different installation systems, even if they all want to look like one material.
We calibrate interior tile for thin-bed adhesive and supply pavers at 30, 40 and 50 mm for bedded installation, so the specification can step up with the loading while the visual stays continuous.

Calibrated for interiors
± 0.5 mm thickness tolerance means thin-bed installation without shimming — a predictable tiling programme.
Thickness for exteriors
30 mm pedestrian, 40 mm heavy pedestrian and light vehicular, 50 mm driveway.
Slip rating where it matters
Bush hammered and flamed andesite and basalt reach R11–R12 wet. Honed is for dry interior areas.

Volcanic andesite
Andesite Stone
A dense grey volcanic stone with high compressive strength and very consistent colour. The most widely specified Indonesian stone for paving, cladding, coping and high-traffic commercial surfaces.

The tight-grained counterpart to lava stone: denser, less porous and more uniform. Specified where a dark stone must meet technical performance requirements for commercial paving and rainscreen facades.
