Andesite Floor Tile
Calibrated andesite floor tile for interior and covered exterior floors, installing on a standard thin-bed system.

Calibrated floor tile, mosaic feature walls, 3D panels, marble and limestone for interior architecture.
Inside the building the constraints change. Slip resistance matters in wet areas rather than everywhere, surfaces get touched and cleaned constantly, and lighting is designed rather than given — which makes textured mosaic and 3D panels far more effective than they are outdoors.
Calibrated tile installs on thin-bed adhesive to the tolerance interior contractors expect, and honed and polished finishes give the refinement interior work generally calls for.
Split face, 3D panels and stacked stone need grazing or uplighting. Flat frontal light flattens them completely.
Limestone and marble should be sealed before grouting and re-sealed periodically. Andesite and basalt generally do not need it indoors.
Polished marble is beautiful and shows wear in a hotel corridor. Honed andesite does not.
Natural stone varies between production runs. Order the whole area plus 10% waste in one order and install from mixed cartons.
