Plazas, lobbies, retail interiors, office facades and public paving in high-durability Indonesian stone.
Commercial and public work is governed by durability and compliance rather than appearance alone: abrasion class, wet slip rating, fire performance of the fixing system, and the ability to replace a damaged panel in ten years' time.
Andesite and dense basalt are the materials that satisfy those requirements consistently, in calibrated tile for interiors and thick pavers for external public areas.
Public paving and lobby floors need high abrasion resistance. Andesite and basalt are appropriate; limestone and sandstone are not.
Most commercial specifications require documented wet slip performance. Request test data with the quotation.
Damaged panels in a public area need replacing from matching material. Order 3–5% attic stock at the outset.
For facades, the bracket system determines thickness and machining. Involve us before the panel schedule is fixed.

A dense grey volcanic stone with high compressive strength and very consistent colour. The most widely specified Indonesian stone for paving, cladding, coping and high-traffic commercial surfaces.
Material Details
The tight-grained counterpart to lava stone: denser, less porous and more uniform. Specified where a dark stone must meet technical performance requirements for commercial paving and rainscreen facades.
Material Details
Indonesian basalt from the Java volcanic belt, quarried as a dense dark stone with fine natural porosity. Specified where architecture calls for depth, matte darkness and a surface that stays visually calm in strong sunlight.
