Garden work uses stone in smaller quantities but wider variety: a path, a stepping run across a lawn, pebble in the beds, a low retaining wall, a water bowl.
It is also the most forgiving application for natural variation — the irregularity that would be a defect on a facade is exactly what a garden wants.

Crazy paving for informal paths
Irregular flagstone reads naturally in a planted setting where a rigid grid would not.
Pebble grade by function
10–20 mm for path and bed cover, 20–40 mm for drainage, 40–100 mm for dry riverbeds and feature areas.
Bed properly
Stepping stones and paths need a compacted bedded base. Laid directly on soil they move within one wet season.

Pebble Stone
River-tumbled pebble collected and hand-sorted by colour and size. Supplied loose by the tonne for landscape, or mesh-mounted as pebble mosaic tile for floors, walls and shower bases.
