Random Natural Stone Mosaic
Irregular stone pieces hand-set on mesh with an unrepeating joint pattern — the most organic of the mosaic formats and the one that hides substrate movement best.
View ProductStone bars aligned in a true stack bond with continuous vertical and horizontal joints — the most disciplined mosaic pattern, for precise contemporary work.
Where strip mosaic offsets its courses, linear mosaic aligns them. Both joints run continuously, producing a grid that reads as deliberate geometry rather than natural randomness. It is specified where the architecture is rigorous and the stone is meant to sit inside a defined module.
A true stack bond exposes any inaccuracy, so panels are assembled against a jig and inspected for square before mesh is applied. Installation needs a levelled substrate and careful setting-out from a datum line.
Honed marble and limestone give a soft, refined result. Andesite gives a harder, more architectural one.

Standard joint is 2–3 mm. Tighter joints can be produced but require a very flat substrate and a skilled installer — discuss before specifying.
